Dear Farista

 How are you all doing? I hope you are in sound health and mind by the grace of the Almighty Allah. May Allah have mercy upon us. I am also well by his grace.

          Your letter of 14^th instant is to hand. In your letter you wanted to know how I will pass my summer vacation. You know that Bangladesh is a densely populated country. Again most of the people are illiterate. They do not know how to read and write. They have no knowledge about education, health family planning, and scientific method of cultivation. We all know that education is the backbone of a nation. No nation can

progress and advance without education. Most of the people of our country are deprived of the light of education which is the prerequisite condition for the betterment of any country. Ignorance can be compared to darkness. So I and some of my friends have decided to go to our village homes and spend the whole summer vacation there. There we will teach the village people to read and write. We will make them aware of the importance of education, health, proper sanitation and family planning. We’ll teach them how to cultivate their lands scientifically and spread fertilizer accordingly. In this way we would have spent our vacation fruitfully.
