A Train Journey I Experienced

 A Train Journey I Experienced

Journey is always a pleasure to me. Whenever I go travel, my mind leaps up with joy. The foundation of the transportation system and a key factor in fostering a sustainable economy are trains. Bangladesh's regional trains are frequently packed and have few seats available. Not only do trains offer comfortable, safe, and economical travel, they are also one of the foundations of the economy.

During my last winter vacation I made up my mind to make a journey by train from Dhaka to Sylhet. We had already bought the tickets online. We reached the station about an hour before departure. It was a very busy time. There were the shouts and rush of the passengers and the porters.

With much difficulty I got into a second class compartment. The compartment was full to its capacity. I took the window seat after jostling. We bought our lunch with us because it was a long journey. But we also bought some food from the hawkers; I love street food so much. The train left the station. Slowly, the speed of the train increased. I was looking outside through the window and was enjoying the green nature of my beautiful country. There were green fields with trees dotted here and there. The green paddy were tossing their heads in the breeze.

As I bade farewell to the train and the fellow travelers who had become temporary companions on this journey, I carried with me a newfound appreciation for the beauty of nature and the interesting encounters that await those who dare to take on the journey of exploration. At about 11.30 am we reached our destination. We got down from the train. My uncle received us at the station. The journey was safe and sound. I enjoyed it very much. It was the most pleasant journey in my life, and its memory will remain ever fresh in my mind.
