Between friends on Covid19

Dialogue between friends on Covid19

Tom : Hello Rumki, you look very anxious. Anything wrong?
Rumki: I am very worried because one of my relatives has recently contracted Corona virus.
Tom: It’s really a bad news. Corona virus has severely affected the world today.
Rumki: Yes, you are right. Every day countless people around us are dying of this Corona and this does not seem to stop.
Tom: Yes, our daily life is being disrupted due to Corona virus. We can’t get out. We can’t even go to school. We stay at home almost all day.
Rumki: Not only that, people have become jobless as a result of the spread of this disease all around.

Tom: Is there any cure in sight?
Rumki: Apparently a permanent cure for Corona virus is yet to be discovered. However, it is possible to reduce the spread of this disease by following some safety rules.
Tom: What are those rules? Would you please tell me?
Rumki:  We must always be clean and tidy. You have to wash your hands well with soap again and again. Don’t go out unless it’s an emergency. A mask is a must to go out.
Tom: You are right. We must follow these hygiene rules for safety. Are there any other rules we should follow?
Rumki: Yes, we must not go near the infected person. We must maintain a social distance of at least 3 feet from one  another.
Tom: I will definitely follow the instructions and make everyone I know aware of this. Good luck to your relatives. Hopefully she recovers soon.

Rumki: Goodbye  and take care of yourself. Bye!

After Coming Out of the Examination Hall

Dialogue: After Coming Out of the Examination Hall

Rina: Hello, Jane. How was today's paper?
Jane: It was okay. But you look annoyed. What happened to you?
Rina: Oh! I've had a horrible experience. The questions scared me out of my wits. It was my good fortune  that I could save myself somehow.
Jane: But I have answered all the questions. To speak the truth, all the questions were somewhat difficult. But I could carry on rather with ease.
Rina: The question nos. 2 and 4 were not common to me. In fact all the questions seemed very difficult.
Jane: I don't think so. It seemed very hard to you as you could not study well owing to your illness.

Rina: You may be right.  But it's true that you are a bright student. So, your case is different.
Jane: Still, the paper as a whole was not so hard that you can't score 50% marks.
Rina: I am speaking of the average students.
Jane: I didn’t  see any student depressed.
Rina: What are you saying? For ordinary students like me the questions were definitely difficult.
Jane: The questions on grammar were quite easy. Besides,  the essay topics were common.
Rina: Don't forget that you are one of the best students of our class. By the way, I wonder if our examiners ever feel for us.
Jane: They are all judicious teachers. The point is that we neglect our work and so we suffer in the long run.
Rina: In this case I agree with you. However, I am happy to see that you are optimistic.
Jane: Let's hope for the best and be serious from now on. Bye for now! See you!
Rina: Thanks, and see you soon! Bye!

Between friends about an interesting TV program

Dialogue between friends about an interesting TV program

Moni: Hello! How are you Tamim?

Tamim: Hi! Fancy meeting you here. Any news?

Moni: Yes, there certainly is! Have you watched the crime report on YTV last night?

Tamim: No! What was that about?

Moni: It was about a fake pir and his tactics of curing people of diseases.

Tamim: Tell  me more!

Moni: This pir treated his patients by beating them, stepping on them and even swinging them. He hung infants upside down saying they were haunted by bad jins.

Tamim: My goodness! Wasn’t he caught?

Moni: Sure. After the TV programme, the police caught the fake pir.

Tamim: It is good that such TV programmes are so useful.

Moni: Yes. Anyway I have to rush to the grocer’s. See you soon. Bye!

Tamim: Bye! And thanks for telling me about the incident.

Between Two Friends on Benefits of Early Rising

A Dialogue Between Two Friends on Benefits of Early Rising

Sujon: Hello Jami! How are you?

Jami: I am fine and what about you?

Sujon: I am fine too. But why are you always late for class? You seem to be late almost every school day though you know that you will be in the teacher’s bad book.

Jami: You are right indeed, I always try to come on time, but I simply can't.

Sujon: Why can't you? What time do you get up in the morning?

Jami: I usually get up at around 9 o'clock. I sleep late as I study later in the evening.

Sujon: You should rise early and get the benefits of early rising. Don't you know the proverb: "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise”

Jami: But how will it help me to become punctual in attending school?

Sujon: If you get up early in the morning, you will get time to have breakfast, complete your homework, have bath and then reach school much ahead of time.

Jami: Yes, you are right. I can understand that by getting up early in the morning, I can make the best use of my time.

Sujon: Exactly! If you get up early, your mind and body will remain fresh. Besides, an early riser can work more and earn more to add to his income.

Jami: You are right. I guess I was in the dark. I really appreciate your suggestion. I will set my alarm accordingly and start getting up early in the morning from tomorrow.

Sujon: It is certainly a wise decision. I will call you tomorrow in the morning at your house and take you for a walk with me. Thank you.

Jami: You are most welcome! I’ll see you tomorrow morning . Bye!

Dialogue:- Between a doctor and yourself

DIALOGUE BETWEEN A DOCTOR AND YOURSELF

Me: Hello, may I come in?

Doctor: Yes, of course. How are you feeling today

Me: Nothing has changed sir, the headache is pretty much the same as before.
Doctor: Oh,  sorry to know that, are you taking the medicines I prescribed for you?

Me: Yes, I am taking the medicines regularly, but I am not getting any improvement.

Doctor: Keep patience, it’s only a week. You need to wait more and keep track of the improvement because your problem is  uncommon.

Me: What should I do now?

Doctor: Have you finished the medicines that I prescribed?

Me: Yes, I did.

Doctor: Then, I am giving some tests here, go to the lab and do these, and I will prescribe a few more medicines after seeing the test results. Now take this paper and go for tests.

Me: Thank you, Doctor.

Doctor: You are welcome.
